WHY ENTER YOUR PRODUCTS FOR EVALUATION?
"Canadian Ratings Institute" provides the most expert and authoritative evaluation of spirits for producers, marketers, importers, distributors and retailers available. Careful, meticulous evaluation of each product. Powerful marketing support and collateral that helps build your brands and further promote your products.
JUDGING METHODOLOGY
The Canadian Ratings Institute organizes a Ratings-tasting every 3 months ( Four times a year) and publishes the results 10 days later, with a panel of 9 judges. The products are judged and scored separately. Strict Sommelier tasting rules are always applied.
The judges write down their impressions of each product on score sheets. The scoring is done on a 10-point system, with 10 as the best. Platinum, Double-Gold, Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded according to a set range of final point scores received from the judges. The tasting notes that follow are summaries of the judges’ opinions, with all replicated commentary eliminated. The countries of origin are given, with a few tidbits added for each brand. The final result will be published on our website and all social medias. Award Medals and Ratings Certificates will be provided for each year by Canadian Ratings Institute.
